    Through a customized search from respective transport operators, customers will be empowered to search for train/marine tickets based on their preferred travel dates, destinations, and travel class. OTAPP aims to collaborate with designated partners to offer holiday packages and accommodations ranging from luxury hotels to budget-friendly accommodations in star-rated hotels, standard guesthouses, and apartments. The company’s secondary products may also include domestic packages such as honeymoon specials, weekend getaways, and beach adventures for families and corporate groups.

Company’s Operations

OTAPP aims to offer online ticketing and travel-related services and products catering to the needs of residents and non-residents of Tanzania traveling within and from other countries. Through the company’s primary Website and mobile platforms, travelers can research, plan and book a range of travel services and products in Tanzania, as well as overseas. How OTAPP got started

In the early days of 2016, the founders of OTAPP (OTT) had a discussion about the absence of online booking and ticketing services for travelers in Tanzania. Inevitably, most people traveling from town to town and across boarders, especially by bus, train, and passenger boats had to purchase their traveling tickets at the station either some days before traveling or on the day of travel, after waiting in long queues at the respective stations. We became passionate about addressing this gap in the travel industry. This led to research on travel-related developments in other countries thus giving birth to OTAPP, which is now a registered company in Tanzania.

Gone are the days where customers would wait in line to buy tickets for their traveling. The Otapp is determined to offer travelers the convenience of online bookings and secured payment for their tickets by a few mouse clicks while sitting in their homes, offices or elsewhere.
